International students are not eligible for any need-based financial assistance from the federal government, state governments, or from Northeastern University. In order to attend a post-secondary institution in the United States, an international student must present evidence of financial support sufficient to cover the costs associated with college attendance.
The Dean's Scholarship is awarded by Northeastern's Admissions Office to reward the outstanding achievements of incoming freshman international students. Award amounts vary from $5,000 to $15,000. The scholarship awarded for a maximum of eight semesters as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA. Additional scholarship information for international students is available here: Northeastern University International Student & Scholar Institute
