Northeastern Grants & Scholarships - Endowed Scholarship

  Endowed Funds
Northeastern endowed scholarships are available due to the generosity of alumni and friends of Northeastern University. The majority of these scholarships are based on financial need and academic performance. Preference is given to those students who have a 3.0 or higher GPA. If you are offered one of these selective funds, you may be asked to write a letter of thanks to a specific donor during the academic year. Most endowed scholarships are not renewable. Students must apply annually for consideration.

When awarding institutional grants and scholarships, the University uses funds that are provided by the institution as well as some of the endowed funds provided by alumni and friends. At any point during the academic year, you may have University grant or scholarship funds replaced by an endowed fund. At that time you may be asked to provide a letter of thanks to the scholarship donor, the donor's heirs, or an individual or committee overseeing the administration of the fund.
